Founding CEO Rezani Aziz accepts the award for Agency Head of the Year
Adfactors Public Relations Lanka announced its first hat-trick victory at the illustrious SABRE South Asia Awards 2024, at Westin Hotel in Gurgaon, New Delhi.
Celebrated as the ‘Oscars of the PR industry’, the awards recognise excellence in strategic planning, creativity and business results in public relations, with agencies from across South Asia vying for recognition.
In a testament to the agency’s exceptional growth and leadership, Adfactors PR Sri Lanka’s Founding CEO Rezani Aziz was honoured with the Agency Head of the Year, while the two Gold awards were for its exemplary campaign for the Planters Association, titled ‘Sustainable Livelihoods for Every Plantation Worker’. This campaign has been instrumental in establishing the importance of progressive wage reforms and a transition towards incentivised, higher productivity models.
“I am deeply honoured to be named Agency Head of the Year at the SABRE South Asia Awards. Yet they would not be possible without our team and our clients. Often, in the face of tremendous adversity, our people have demonstrated resilience and a shared commitment to excellence. We are proud to represent Sri Lanka on this prestigious platform and of our continuing mission to deliver impactful change through knowledge-driven communication
In the wake of a tumultuous economic crisis, Sri Lanka is a nation in search of vision and deeply at odds with itself. Our role as public relations professionals in leveraging strategic communication to cut through the noise, takes on even greater significance. By supporting businesses to effectively communicate their authentic growth strategies, while also listening and engaging with their stakeholders, we hope to create space for businesses, investors, government and the public to establish mutual trust and understanding,” Aziz added.
The SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific hold significant prestige as they recognise campaigns demonstrating the highest strategic planning, creativity and business results.
