Amana Bank Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal receives the award at ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave 2024


Amana Bank was honoured with Best Performance on Risk Management at the 2nd ICC Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2024, organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), to recognise the outstanding performance in the banking domain across the South-Asian region. 

The Association of Professional Bankers - Sri Lanka, partnered with the ICC to ensure the event’s success.

Representing Amana Bank to receive the award, Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal said, “We are honoured to have won this prestigious award, competing against the leading banks. The award ceremony was preceded by the banking conclave featuring a distinguished line-up of speakers, including Government of India Financial Services Department Secretary Shri Vivek Joshi, State Bank of India Chairman Shri Dinesh Kumar Khara and representing Sri Lanka, Central Bank of Sri Lanka Deputy Governor A.A.M. Thassim.
