CSE team celebrating their Great Place to Work accreditation

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has once again been accredited as a Great Place to Work in Sri Lanka.

This continuous recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of the CSE team in fostering a positive and inclusive work culture for their employees, who are regarded as the organization’s most valuable assets.

The Great Place to Work accreditation is recognized globally and serves as a benchmark for identifying and celebrating exceptional employee experiences within workplaces. The standard evaluation by Great Place to Work focuses on five key areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

To comply with Great Place to Work administration criteria, a comprehensive survey of employees was conducted, gathering anonymous and confidential responses. This process provided insights into how employees perceive the workplace culture at CSE.

Commenting on the certification, CSE Chief Executive Officer Rajeeva Bandaranaike said, “The CSE team is our key asset, and we strive to create a healthy and conducive work environment. The Great Place to Work Certification has been a testimony to the efforts the CSE has taken over the years to build a workplace where people are treated fairly and are proud to be a part of.”

The CSE respects diversity within the company and thus promotes equal opportunity for its employees, irrespective of race or gender. The CSE is built on its corporate values of Professionalism, Integrity, Care, Passion, and Teamwork.

It continues to advocate for equality and inclusivity and has strived to build a welcoming, robust, and sustainable work environment for its employees. The company also employs a female population above the market average and continues to advocate for Women in Management.

The accreditation underscores CSE’s commitment to maintaining a supportive and empowering environment for all its employees.
