Lanka IOC (LIOC) has secured business from Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to supply Servo branded lubricants to Sapugaskanda Power Station. This business was secured through competetive bidding by LIOC for the first time.

LIOC manufactures automotive, industrial and marine Servo lubricants at its state-of-the-art plant in Trincomalee.  The entire range of Servo lubricants are locally manufactured.
“In terms of market share in the lubricant segment, Servo is currently at No. 2 position in Sri Lanka and this new business is a major step towards being a market leader.

“For decades Servo has been in the forefront of introducing technologically advanced products. Servo has also made inroads into the highly competitive global markets. Today, it has established its footprint in more than 30 global destinations,” a LIOC statement said.

The company statement also said LIOC would become the only company to set up a grease manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka.
