National Chamber hosts Sri Lanka – Hungary Business Forum and B2B meetings

A 28-member business delegation from Hungary will arrive in Sri Lanka on January 12, to explore trade and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka. 


The delegation visit is organized by Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi in Association with the Foreign Ministry - 
Sri Lanka. 


The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka will hold a business forum with the participation of the visiting delegates on the January, 12, followed by B2B meetings with the potential local business partners at 9.00 a.m. at the Galle Face Hotel. 


Key Speakers from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary & Ministry of Trade of Sri Lanka, National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and The Colombo Port City (Investment Destination) are expected 
to join.


The visiting delegation represents product lines such as, Agricultural Industry: non-chemical pesticides, poultry (egg-layers and parents), ICT-smart agriculture; Food Industry Sector: Agri-food processing, milk, cheese, sprits, distillery; 


Environmental solutions Sector:  Energy Industry: renewable energy solutions, Smart Cities Solutions, Water Industry: sewage water management, Environment related IT solutions: legal compliance management software, for environment regulation compliance, Hazardous Waste Treatment; 


Healthcare Sector: Healthcare Industry-lab technologies, personalized cancer treatment, Pharmaceutical Industry: pharmaceutical, Metalworking - healthcare related: Hospital furniture;  Industry Sector: Metalworking, gas cylinders manufacturing, Mechanical Industry: sensory equipment for gas/steam/thinners, railways safety equipment, Logistics: mobile collapsible container houses, paper industry: household paper products, Printing Industry- Security printing: authentication, payment solutions, secure logistic solutions, Defence Industry: defence electronics solutions
