People’s Bank, has been leading the digital banking landscape in Sri Lanka with innovative initiatives targeted at improving client experiences. The bank initiated a digital banking project in 2015, introducing a comprehensive range of digital solutions which include digital account opening, mobile banking apps, digital loans, Internet Banking, Digital Wallets and Virtual Account Opening Services. As a result of these innovations, the bank now serves over 3 million digital customers.
