Joining this year’s Campaign Asia-Pacific’s 40 Under 40 winners driving innovation and pushing boundaries across the region’s marketing landscape is Thanzyl Thajudeen, Managing Director of Colombo-based Mark and Comm Ltd.

This year’s nominations were nothing short of extraordinary, presenting a formidable challenge to the jury, who found themselves inspired by the bold visionaries redefining their industry and also empowering others on their journey to success.

The esteemed jury featured industry leaders including Cecilia Yeong, Marketing Director at DFI Retail Group; Joanna White, Head of Promotions and Partnerships—APAC at Hasbro Singapore; Kaveri Khullar, SVP, Consumer Marketing, Sponsorships and Gaming at Mastercard Asia Pacific; alongside Campaign’s editor Nikita Mishra and Editorial Director Robert Sawatsky.

The selected winners span 14 markets across the APAC region, from Australia and New Zealand to China, India, and beyond. They represent the industry’s vast spectrum, covering everything from independent agencies to global networks, media powerhouses, financial services, adtech, martech, PR, healthcare communications, and video marketing.

Thajudeen leads all efforts and projects at Mark and Comm, including being the strategic counsel to clients’ leadership teams. Over the years, Mark and Comm has expanded beyond PR to also include strategic communications, advertising, creatives, and marketing consultancy, serving brands ranging from agri, apparel, retail and FMCG to edu, tech, tourism and hospitality.

In August this year, Mark and Comm partnered with ZeroPlastic Movement to raise awareness of plastic pollution, and with Women in Tech Sri Lanka to strengthen women’s participation in STEM. Thajudeen is poised to take Mark and Comm globally, backed by the incredible talent that Sri Lanka holds in the PR and creative communications industry.

Thajudeen is also involved with the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) serving in its Education Advisory Board and Membership Committee and with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in its Professional Standards standing committee and CIPR International Committee. He also served as a Board Member of PRCA Asia Pacific.
