Together with the strength of REC (Norway) and Fronius (Austria), BAM Green moves another step ahead with the first ADB (Asian Development Bank) Funded Solar Project in Southern Province with the approval of the Sustainable Energy Authority.

Sustainable Energy Authority acts as the local coordinator and the technical consultant for all ADB funded projects.

The 100kWp system was installed at the Miami Clothing in Pitigala, with a view to reducing the heavy electricity consumption of the factory.

The installation took only 7 days with the capability of BAM Green’s highly trained and motivated engineers and technical staff. REC solar panels and Fronius ECO inverters were used to complete the project.

“This first ADB funded project in Southern Province would be a great example for the Industrialists those who are interested in promoting an ECO Friendly Environment. Additionally, they would enjoy the benefits of future savings in many ways. We are pleased that the Sustainable Energy Authority constantly encourages us in our renewable energy projects” said Hemantha Munasinghe, Managing Director of BAM Green.
