Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) and Lanka IOC PLC will power the 36th National Conference of Chartered Accountants with Gold sponsorships.

Organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), the conference, which will revolve around the theme ‘Catalyst 2015: Collaborate to Compete’, will be held from November 4 to 6, 2015 and will bring together chartered accountants including influential business leaders who steer businesses both locally and globally.

Elaborating on the partnership, CDB Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Mahesh Nanayakkara said, “CDB has been founded on the strong fundamentals of financial empowerment and social inclusivity both of which are espoused by CA Sri Lanka. This year’s conference theme for example, ‘Collaborate to Compete’ is extremely pragmatic and a tenet that resonates well at CDB given the evolutionary dynamics the world is in and the need for us to be prepared for these fast changing transformations to remain on top. We are indeed honoured to be partnering with CA Sri Lanka once more at its flagship National Conference.”

Lanka IOC Managing Director Shyam Bohra said that his company was privileged to be collaborating with CA Sri Lanka in its endeavour to deliberate on the theme ‘Collaborate to Compete’ and to explore a new business paradigm. “We admire and appreciate CA Sri Lanka for picking such a thought provoking theme which has greater relevance in current business, social and political spectrum than ever before,” he said.

CA Sri Lanka Arjuna Herath President welcoming CDB onboard once again, emphasized that CDB’s continuing support was a clear indication of the confidence reposed in the institute’s activities.

Welcoming Lanka IOC, Herath said that it was a pleasure to have a company in the stature of Lanka IOC to support the 36th National Conference for a second consecutive year.
