Ceylon Chamber seminar to discuss strategies on transportation and logistics

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will line up an impressive set of speakers, consisting both public and private sector official, including academics, to discuss transportation and logistics strategies that should be adopted to propel Sri Lanka’s export growth.

The seminar to be held on October 23 at the CCC is titled as ‘Developing Effective Transportation and Logistics Strategies to Propel Sri Lanka Towards an Accelerated Export Economy’.

Hayleys Advantis Managing Director Ruwan Waidyaratne, CILT Sri Lanka Fellow Member and Past President Rohaan Abeywickrema, Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport International Vice President Prof. Amal Kumarage, Hemas Group (TBC) Transportation Sector Chairman Imtiaz Esufally, Transport Ministry (TBC) Secretary Dr. Lalitha Gunaruwan, Sri Lanka Ports Authority Director Technical Datta Gunasekera and Sri Lanka Customs ADGC Enforcement Thilak Perera will deliver presentations at the seminar.

Following the presentation, a panel discussion would also be held, where the participants would be given the opportunity of asking questions. CCC Secretary General/CEO Mangala P.B. Yapa will deliver the introductory speech at the upcoming seminar.
