CK Homes launches City Edge Residences

C K Homes (Pvt) Ltd, the new member of the C K Group, commenced work of City Edge Residencies, a BOI-approved project in Kelaniya recently.
 
City Edge Residencies comprises of 61 apartments with twin luxury towers. The apartment complex is enriched with numerous facilities including swimming pool, jogging track, gymnasium, multifunctional hall, bakery, medical center, beauty saloon, laundry, roof terrace and ample space for car parking, electric car charging center etc. 

The City Edge Residencies is few minutes away from the Colombo City with better connectivity to surrounding urban centers which will provide a greener environment to the dwellers. The prospective occupants will have eight residential types to choose with a mix of 2– 3 bed room units, extra rooms and duplex villas.

C K Homes (Pvt) Ltd. was formed by the same directorship of C K Group, C.J. Kuruppuge, Chairman/Managing Director and his wife K.S. Kuruppuge, Director/Secretary with an intention of adding more value to the development of vertical dwellings and real estate in Sri Lanka. 

C K Group’s first company was C K International which was formed in the year 2007 and C K Imports & Distributors (Pvt) Ltd. was subsequently incorporated in the same year to strengthen the business activities in a group structure. 

Both companies have been involved in automotive trade with Siam Furukawa Company Limited in Thailand. Siam Furukawa is a subsidiary of The Furukawa Company, Japan which is one of the leading battery manufacturers in the world. 

As a result of a strategic decision made by the management of the C K Group, C K Homes was incorporated as the third member of the group and kept the corner stone to develop the first high-rise building in the area, City Edge Residencies.  

The project launch was held at the construction site in grand manner on December 12, 2015, attended by distinguished guests, all the reputed banks, government officers, media personnel and prospective customers. 

The keynote address of the project launch was made by the Deputy Minister – Megapolis, Lasantha Alagiyawanna expressing the value of the project and the future developments of the area. 

 The CEO of the Company D.H. Ranasinghe, stressed that the company could guarantee the return on investment for customers. 

The apartments will be handed over to the prospective customers in April 2017—the shortest time period of occupation—and will be a record in the property development market.
