Finance Minister to address “Ease of Doing Business” forum today

The fourth forum of the “Ease of Doing Business” will be held today, (01st October) at 2 pm at the 4th Floor Auditorium of MILODA, Academy of Financial Studies, (Old Times Building), Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha, Colombo-01. 

Since May 2015 under this initiative, the Ministry of Finance has held three forums and the fourth forum scheduled for today will be chaired by Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. 

He will be joined by Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, State Minister of Finance, Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Arjuna Mahendran, Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka. 

Secretary to the Treasury, Dr. R H S Samarathunga and Advisor to the Ministry of National Policy Planning and Economic Affairs, R. Paskaralingam will also be present to lend their expertise in facilitating this exercise.

This Forum will provide a live platform to address the procedural and regulatory issues and facilitate in finding on-the-spot solutions to uplift the doing-business environment in Sri Lanka.
