Lanka IOC gets new MD

The driving seat of Sri Lanka’s largest privately held petroleum corporation will be changing, with Shyam Bohra succeeding Subodh Dakwale as the Managing Director of Lanka IOC PLC.

Graduating as a civil engineer from Bangalore University, Bohra also has a Postgraduate Management Diploma from Rajastan University.

He has over 26 years of experience in the petroleum sector in the fields of logistics, retail and heading three separate sales divisions of the Indian Oil Corporation.

The change is set to take effect from September 31 and Dakwale will be transferred back to the parent company in India.
