SriLankan’s carbon footprint second lowest in Asia Pacific

An international travel magazine has ranked the national carrier SriLankan Airlines among the airlines with the lowest carbon footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.
The January/February 2016 Asian Edition of the UK magazine - Business Traveller - ranked SriLankan at the second position of a list of 25 Asia Pacific airlines with the lowest carbon footprint, with 72.8 efficiency points.
Taiwan’s Transasia Airways was ranked as the airline with the lowest carbon footprint in Asia Pacific, while India’s Jet Airway was ranked third.
