Covid-19 Intermediate Care Center inaugurated at Katunayaka FTZ

The Covid-19 Intermediate Care Center at the Katunayaka Free Trade Zone was inaugurated yesterday by the Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Sanjaya Mohottala.

The 500-bed care center is housed in a building offered by Crystal Martin Ceylon and is equipped with the latest technical appliances and facilities.

In a statement to the media, the BOI shared that the Free Trade Zone Manufacturer’s Association provided Rs. 10 million, whereas the Gampaha National Youth Services Council donated 100 beds.

Medical services at the newly established care center will be provided by the Negombo General Hospital for a daily fee of Rs. 1,500 which include food, medicine, accommodation and other facilities.
