Sri Lanka and Nepal are currently exploring the possibility of having an exchange of high-level visits and business delegations, in an effort to firm up ties between the two countries, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry said.
At the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Bangkok, Sabry held discussions with Nepal’s Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud in this regard.
“During our discussions, we agreed that there is potential for our two countries for economic partnership. Education & hydropower have been identified as two areas of cooperation,” said Sabry in an update on Twitter today.
