A beach cleanup program was conducted at the Dehiwala beach today by the Civil Defence Force officers. Plastic trash were seen strewn along the beach with the debris washed ashore from the ill-fated X-Press Pearl vessel which caught fire near the Colombo Harbour last year. Pix by Nisal Baduge
