The health authorities commenced vaccinating students with Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPV) vaccines in regional level for the first time since the schools had been closed for months. HPV vaccine is introduced into the national immunization programmeto prevent cervical cancer in future. All girls in grade 6 are given the HPV vaccination on completion of 10 years.
