Foreign Affairs Ministry Secretary Esala Weerakoon handed over compensation and salary dues to the family members of migrant workers who were deceased or injured overseas at the Foreign Affairs Ministry yesterday.
Forty five family members received Rs. 91 million from Mr. Weerakoon at the ceremony. This was the first awarding compensation ceremony organized by the ministry in the year 2017.
