A contingent of SL Navy Marine personnel headed by Lieutenant Commander (Marine) Sanath Mahinda whiih underwent Field Training Exercise and similar training engagements with Royal Australian Navy and US Marines in Australia and Hawaii, as a part of the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC) 2018, returned after successful completion of the tour.
