Sri Lanka’s third joint tri-service Marathon Run, organized under the auspices of Brussels-based International Military Sports Council (Conseil International du Sport Militaire), more widely known as ‘CISM Day Run,’ commenced early this morning near the Colombo Light House Galley. The run covered a distance of four kilometres with the participation of about 300 tri-service personnel headed by Army Commander Lieutenant General Daya Rathnayake, Navy Commander Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage and Air Force Commander Air Vice Marshal Kolitha Gunathilake.Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
