'Nawagattegama Kabaraya' captured

A wild elephant known as the “Nawagattegama Kabaraya” that was said to be a great threat to the Nawagattegama village was captured by  wildlife officers after a three-day operation. The elephant aged 35  was due to be released to the Mullaitivu forest. Pix by Hiran Priyankara Jayasinghe.
