The St.Anthony's feast in Katchchathivu

The Kachchathivu feast took place today in the Island of Kachchathivu north of Sri Lanka.India ceded Kachchativu Island to Sri Lanka in 1974 based on the Indo-Lanka Maritime Boundary Agreement. A part of pilgrims are from India. Devotees from the Delft, Kayts and Jaffna visit Kachchativu for the annual festival. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana
