Sri Lanka ‘A’ – South Africa ‘A’ 2nd unofficial Test

South Africa ‘A’ left arm spinner Senuran Muthusamy bagged five scalps on day one of the 2nd unofficial Test match against host Sri Lanka ‘A’ played at the P. Sara Stadium for his third successive five wicket haul of the two Test match series as Sri Lanka ‘A’ taking first lease of the wicket ended the day on 257 for 7.

Sri Lanka ‘A’s inning came on the back of three valuable partnerships with first being openers Nishan Madushka and Lasith Croospulle giving them a sound start putting on 59 runs.

This was followed by a third wicket stand of 78 runs between Pasindu Sooriyabandara who made 41 and Minod Bhanuka who chipped in with 32 and then Ramesh Mendis and Milan Ratnayake featured in an unbroken stand of 40 runs for the eighth wicket to boost the host sides score.
