- The cap was handed over to Chandimal by Angelo Mathews before the commencement of the second day of play of the ongoing test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
- With the ongoing 2nd test match, Chandimal is also playing his 300th international match across all formats.

- Dhananjaya De Silva was given a special cap by Sri Lanka Cricket to mark the playing of his 50th Test Match.
