(Daily Mirror) - A match bag of nine wickets by spinner Prabath Jayasuriya and a half ton by Manoj Sarathchandra helped SSC to record a comfortable innings and 62 run win over Colts CC in the Major Club three day cricket tournament played at the Colts ground. This was SSC’s third outright win of the tournament.
Meanwhile three other outright wins were recorded with NCC, Police SC and BRC against Chilaw Marians CC, Sebastianites CC and Nugegoda S&WC. NCC and Police SC too recorded their third outright wins and BRC their second of the tournament. The other matches ended in first inning wins for Galle CC, CCC and Tamil Union
