Sri Lanka Emerging XI – Bangladesh Emerging XI 1st unofficial Test

Rain ruined the first day’s proceedings of the 1st unofficial Test match between Sri Lanka Emerging XI and the visiting Bangladesh Emerging XI played at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.

Bangladesh Emerging XI taking first lease of the wicket after skipper Mahmudul Hasan Joy winning the toss were on 167 for 1 which came on the back of two valuable partnerships by openers Pratnik Nawrose Nabil and Aich Mollah who together put on 76 runs which followed with Mollah who made an unbeaten 74 with 11 boundaries and skipper Joy sharing an unbroken 91 runs stand for the second wicket.

Only 46 overs of play was possible as the umpires were compelled to call of the match due to rain.
