COLOMBO, Nov 27 (Daily Mirror) - Last year's runner up Thurstan College and Lumbini MV will battle for supremacy to lay their hands on the Under 19 Division One Tier ‘B’ limited over title when they clash in the final scheduled to be played at the Surrey Village grounds in Maggona tomorrow (28).

In the run up to the final the two teams ended as the top and second best team in the league segment with Thurstan coming out on top and Lumbini MV securing the second slot.

Thurstan led by Sri Lanka youth player Vihas Thewmika overcame Dharmaraja in the quarter final and got the better of defending champions St. Peter’s in the semi final while Lumbini MV led by Sahan Kaushalya on the other hand defeated St. Aloysius' Galle in the quarter final and pulled off a stunning win over fancied Ananda in the semi final.

However the match is going to an interesting tussle as Thurstan will be seeking to go one better from last year and also will be coming into the game seeking to avenge the first round defeat they underwent to Lumbini MV who for a sure will be seeking to make a repeat and and will be aiming to lift the title with the last appearance in a final was way back in the 1999/2000 season where they emerged joint champions with Mari Stella Negombo.
