The 40,000 or more visitors to the Dehiwela Zoo on October 1st were in for a big surprise, as Nolimit celebrated World Children’s Day by turning the zoo into an exciting world of fun and games complete with prizes galore.

The chief guest was Sustainable Development and Wildlife Deputy Minister Sumedha G. Jayasena.

At the Dehiwala Zoo, there were several exciting bouncy castles for the children to have joyous fun. Face painting was another attraction for the little ones while there were two magic shows that kept the youngsters enthralled. There were many more amazing attractions including the opportunity to play the Angry Bird Game, score at a basketball shootout or at a mini-golf game and mingle with several much-loved mascots including Tigger, Minion and Winnie the Pooh, making the eyes of the children sparkle with glee.

The day’s activities included the crowning of all the children as Nolimit Prince or Nolimit Princess. There was also an exciting art competition for children under 12 with attractive special gift packs for those little artists who displayed their creative skills and won in
the competition.

One hundred helium balloons were released amidst cheers and claps from the little ones who were able to participate in the celebrations and take away memories of a delightful day.

Nolimit Marketing Manager Raneez Sheriff explained the significance of the event that the fashion store has held for the fourth year. “Our corporate culture at Nolimit focuses strongly on sustainability and we are committed to contributing to society and the environment while inspiring future generations. The well-being of children is in the heart of our endeavours and it was a delight to witness how much they enjoyed the day,” he said.
