Delmege Insurance Brokers facilitates EPL insurance cover for Nawaloka Construction

Delmege Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd recently facilitated an Environment Pollution Liability (EPL) Insurance cover for Nawaloka Constructions Company for its US$ 60 million construction project consisting of 120 Villas, including 55 water villas and a SPA, with all modern five star facilities in the Vakkuru Island in Maldives.

This is the first time that a Sri Lankan Construction company obtained an EPL Insurance protection for a construction project.

While handing over the insurance policy, the General Manager of Delmege Insurance commended the Nawaloka Construction taking the initiative by purchasing an Insurance policy of this nature as a responsible corporate who is concerned of the impact to the environment as a result of their activities.
