Kanrich Finance concludes fifth stage of ‘Sasunata Diriyak’

The fifth stage of the Sasunata Diriyak (Support for religion)the Social Service Movement initiated by Kanrich Finance, was held at the Irabadagma Senanayake Samadhi Viharaya recently. 
The Buddhist Auditorium, that the monastery had needed, was constructed and offered to the Sangha, This program is being implemented in terms of a concept of Shiran Weerasinghe, Director, CEO Kanrich Finance. 
Ravi Joseph, Assistant General Manager (Information and Technology), Kanrich Finance, speaking at this ceremony said, “This event takes place as the fifth stage of the “Sasunata Diriyak” movement of Kanrich Finance. Kanrich Finance has extended its helping hand to a National Service, the objective of which is the upgrading of various temples and monasteries, that lack essential facilities. In our Country almost all cities and villages have a large number of  Buddhist Shrines. But only a handful of those possess the necessary facilities. Through our program of assisting Buddhist Monasteries, in places where many low-income earners live, we implement this Buddhist Religious and Social Service movement under the theme “Sasunata Diriyak”. This is a service that is of benefit to the total Buddhist Community. Besides, we see this movement as the laying of the initial foundation, to preserve the Buddha Sasana for the benefit of the future generations .”
Kanrich Finance, that has won the trust of the customers as a local Finance Institution, has always been in the fore-front in providing social benefits. Besides, we are a Finance Institution, that prioritizes assistance to religious activities.
Ven. Irabadagama Buddhananda Maha Thero, Chief  Incumbent of  the Vihara, other monks, along with  Ravi Joseph, AGM Kanrich Finance, Rasika Disanayake, Branch  Manager  Kanrich Finance Wennapuwa, Lakmal Weerabandu, Branch Manager, Anuradhapura and Gamage, Branch Manager, Puttalam Branch,and other members of the staff, participated in the event. Members of the Society of Devotees of Irabadagama Senanayake Samadhi Vihara, and members of the local community also took part  in this ceremony.
