Minna and Ladbroke Division landslide victims receive houses

Strathspey Estate, Upcot, which comes under Maskeliya Plantations PLC, owned by Richard Pieris Group of Companies, undertook the constructions of 15 full-fledged new houses, with the funds received from the Hill Country New Villages, Infrastructure and Community Development Ministry. They were opened by Minister P. Thigambaram after hoisting the national flag and the company flag and handed over to the landslide victims of Minna and Ladbroke Divisions of this estate recently. Maskeliya Plantations PLC General Manager Vipula Pussella, the executives, staff and workers of the company, neighbouring estate executives, staff and workers, ministry secretary, officials of the ministry, Chairman, regional directors and staff from the Plantation Human Development Trust, Central Provincial Council Members, Pradeshiya Sabha members and well-wishers graced this occasion of the plantation sector.
