Walkers Equipment donates Sany operation, maintenance simulator to CETRAC

Sany International Development Limited together with Walkers Equipment Limited handed over a Sany operation and maintenance simulator to the Construction Equipment Training Centre (CETRAC).
Walkers Equipment Limited, a subsidiary of MTD Walkers PLC, was incorporated for the primary purpose of conducting business activities as an infrastructure development support business and is the exclusive distributor for Sany-branded equipment in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
The handing over of the simulator forms part of MTD Walkers PLC’s commitment to working with its stakeholders in bringing global practices to Sri Lanka, helping to uplift the technical knowledge, know-how and standards of the industry.
“MTD Walkers PLC is committed towards the development of the construction industry in Sri Lanka and we believe that it is imperative to keep abreast of global trends while developing the skills and technical know-how of all those working in the industry,” said MTD Walkers PLC Executive Deputy Chairman Jehan Amaratunga, at the ceremony.
