Sri Lanka Citizens’ Co-operative Bank Chairman Chamika Weerasinghe formally opens corporate branch by cutting the ribbon
Sri Lanka Citizens’ Co-operative Bank Chairman Chamika Weerasinghe formally declared open the bank’s corporate branch at No. 176, Castle Street, Colombo 8, a few days ago.
Speaking on this occasion, Weerasinghe said that with the opening of this fully modernised corporate branch centralised in Colombo, the bank aimed at providing its customers with a productive and efficient service in the field of co-operative banking.
Speaking further, Weerasinghe said that the bank was already functioning in Gampaha, Jaela, Wennappuwa, Nuwara-Eliya and Siyambalanduwa and that with the addition of this corporate branch the services of the bank would be further enhanced. The head office of the bank also would function from this location.
Also speaking on this occasion, Sri Lanka Citizens’ Co-operative Bank CEO Amila Katuwawala said that this corporate branch was designed to provide facilities for fixed deposits, savings deposits, vehicle leasing, business loans, gold loans, enterprise loans and mortgage loans with much convenience to its customers all under one roof.
Speaking further Katuwawala said that it was the trust and confidence the bank’s customers had in it was the reason for the bank’s rapid progress.
The bank invites customers to join hands with the Sri Lanka Citizens’ Co-operative Bank to achieve further financial success.
Along with the CEO of the bank, Vice-Chairman Dinesh Siriwardena, Colombo Stock Exchange Chief Executive Officer Rajiva Bandaranayake, Police Assistant Superintendent Saman Jayalath and Branch Manager Ashad Fernando also graced the occasion.
