Amãna Bank recognised as Fastest Growing Retail Bank in Sri Lanka

 The UK’s highly acclaimed Global Banking and Finance Review Magazine has adjudicated Amãna Bank as the ‘Fastest Growing Retail Bank in Sri Lanka’ in its recent awards announcement.  


Having achieved a 16 percent growth in total assets in 2020, Amãna Bank went on to reach the milestone of Rs.100 billion in a record time, affirming the bank’s credibility of being one of Sri Lanka’s progressive banks. As per the bank’s mid-year performance for 2021, the total assets have further grown by 9 percent to close at Rs.108.7 billion while profit before tax significantly grew by over 100 percent to reach Rs.506.8 million from Rs.250.5 million recorded in 1H of 2020.

Adding to its list of accolades, Amãna Bank went further to be recognised by Global Banking and Finance Review as the Best Expat Bank in Sri Lanka in lieu of its dedicated banking proposition ‘Expat Gold’ for Sri Lankan expatriates living overseas as well as being recognised as the Best CSR Bank in Sri Lanka owing to the bank’s flagship CSR project ‘OrphanCare’.
