The Peradeniya Branch of Cargills Bank moved to a new location at William Gopallawa Mawatha, Kandy on January 21st, allowing customers to conveniently and comfortably access Cargills Bank’s portfolio of banking and financial services.
A modest opening ceremony, in line with health guidelines, was graced by selected longstanding customers of the branch, senior management of Cargills Food City and Cargills Bank, to mark the official opening of the new branch location.
Speaking at the opening, Senarath Bandara, Managing Director/CEO of Cargills Bank stated, “We are proud to have grown alongside the town of Peradeniya, being able to touch the lives of so many Sri Lankans and create new opportunities and connections.
As we have grown, so has our need to more effectively, efficiently and conveniently serve our customers. Thus, it is with great pride that we declare open today this new standalone branch which will house our Peradeniya Branch and help us to continue our work together with the citizens of the area to harness the spirit of progress in every Sri Lankan.
We strive to be Sri Lanka’s most inclusive bank, and our doors are open to all. We invite everyone to visit our new branch and enjoy a distinctly Cargills Bank experience.” Cargills Bank – Peradeniya is open for business Monday to Friday.
