HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) recently partnered with AETINS-KGiSL, a leader in innovation and information technology, in order to upgrade its core system.
The agreement was signed by HNBA Chief Executive Officer Lasitha Wimalaratne and KGiSL Vice President Insurance Practice Saraswathy Sarangapany in the presence of HNBA and its fully-owned subsidiary HNB General Insurance Limited (HNBGI) Chairperson Rose Cooray, HNBA Non-Independent/Non-Executive Director Dilshan Rodrigo, HNBA and HNBGI Alternate Director Non-Independent/Non-Executive Director Dr. Prasad Samarasinghe, HNBA and HNBGI Chief Information Officer Suneth Jayamanne and KGiSL Director Insurance Solutions and Consulting Ravindra Mohan.
Expressing her views, Cooray stated, “This partnership reflects on our vision to transform HNBA into an even more progressive, dynamic and innovative business. A system of this nature combined with the core competencies, expertise and knowledge of a vibrant and energetic team will lead HNBA in the right direction to build a legacy of its own.”
