Union Bank launches early Avurudu gift offer

Union Bank launched ‘Kalin Avurudu Ganudenu’, an early Avurudu promotion, offering exciting gifts for savings and one-year fixed deposits. 


This offer is valid for a period of two months giving customers the opportunity and flexibility to save in slabs and collect gifts. Gifts can be collected from February 15 onwards and the promotion will be valid up to April 15, 2016. 


A range of gifts are on offer and include LED TVs, microwaves, gas cookers, irons, travelling bags, colour kits for kids and much more. 


The offer is applicable for Union Bank savings accounts and one-year fixed deposits. The gift offer includes a wall clock for Rs.10,000, a travelling bag for Rs.25,000, an iron for Rs.50,000, a gas cooker for Rs.100,000, mixer grinder for Rs.250,000 , microwave for Rs.500,000 and a LED TV for Rs.1 million in a savings account. 


All items are provided from a reputed organisation and include a one-year warranty with an islandwide supplier branch network for after-sales service.

To create awareness for the promotion the bank has devised several marketing initiatives including a month-long islandwide activation with popular radio stations Sirasa FM, Shakthi FM and Rhythm FM. The activation kicked off on February 15 from Galle and Batticaloa and will proceed to all locations where Union Bank branches are based.
