All Courts in SL to be equipped with modern technology: Ali Sabry

The Sri Lankan Courts will have online hearing facilities by the end of the year while there will also be a complete overhaul of the legal system, Minister of Justice Ali Sabry told Parliament yesterday.  

Minister Sabri said the Sri Lankan Courts will be similar to other countries with the usage of  such  technology. “Initially, around 43 Courts will have the online hearing, online filing , video, audio conferencing facilities by December this year, while, all the Courts in Sri Lanka will have these facilities by 2023,” he said.  “ We are also working with 200 legal experts to change the judicial system.
