The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday ordered to release former Director of Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) DIG Nalaka De Silva from a case filed against him stated he had allegedly plotted to assassinate former President Maithripala Sirisena and former Defence Secretary and President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage ordered to release former TID Director from the case following the Attorney General’s advice not to proceed with the case due to insufficient evidence.
