Bathiudeen released on bail in two cases

Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, who was in remand custody in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks and also in the case pertaining to the death of a 16-year-old domestic aide at his residence, was released on bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday.   

He was released on two surety bail of Rs. 5 million each by Colombo Fort Magistrate Priyanatha Liyanage over the Easter Sunday attacks.    

Bathiudeen was also released on two surety bail of Rs.one million each by Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya in connection with the case pertaining to the death of 16-year-old domestic aide at his residence.
