Chairman Urban Settlement Development Authority assumes duties

Asanka Abeywardene who has been appointed as the new Chairman of Urban Settlement Development Authority assumed duties recently.   

Mr. Abeywardene obtained his letter of appointment from the Personal Secretary to Minister of Rural and Urban Development, Housing and Urban Settlement Vijitha Hearth.   

Mr. Abeywardene was one time District Secretary of Trincomalee, and Deputy District Secretary of Ampara.   
Director General Urban Settlement Development Authority Vijayananda Herath and other senior officials of the institution participated in the ceremony.
