The Covid curve of Sri Lanka has flattened around 550 daily cases triggering concerns whether it will lead to another spike , a Minister said .
State Minister of Production , Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana told Daily Mirror that the health authorities had taken note of the flattening of the curve after a drop in the number of cases for days earlier .
The Minister said the increased public mobility after relaxation of curbs could be the plausible reason for the current situation.
“We remain alert . The situation may become better or worse ,” he said.
He stressed the need for people to adhere to health measures .
