Voters of this country should choose whether they are going to endorse Ranil, Anura clan or whether they will count on SJB, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said yesterday.
“ People will have to choose between our camp and the Ranil, Anura camp at this year’s presidential election,” Premadasa told a public rally in Kuliyapitiya.
“ I am sure that people of this country will elect a regime of a common man on September 21st this year, “ he said.
“ We will introduce smart agriculture, smart schools and smart hospitals. We shall create one million entrepreneurs if elected to power,” he added.
“ MP Nalin Bandara Jayamaha has already begun an export processing zone in Bingiriya. An SJB regime will develop the Wayamba University. We will also set up factories in all constituencies in the Wayamba province, “ He said.
Premadasa further pledged to carry out a new poverty alleviation programme where Rs.25,000 will be given to each poor family which will be used to start up self employment schemes.
He said he would end malnutrition which currently prevails among children and also put a stop to unemployment among the youth.
