Erik Solheim appointed Presidents’ Intl. Climate Adviser

Former Norwegian Minister Erik Solheim, who is currently in Sri Lanka, was appointed as an International Climate Adviser to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, along with Former Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed.


Solheim said in a twitter post that he is proud to be appointed as President’s International Climate Adviser together with Mohamed Nasheed.  


“Good meeting with Sri Lanka’s President Ranil Wickremesinghe. The President has a great vision for green economic recovery and for Sri Lankan climate leadership,” he tweeted.
