Three persons were injured due to an explosion at a hotel at Awariwattha in Weligama yesterday morning. Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that the explosion reportedly had taken place inside the kitchen at the hotel.
It was reported that the hotel was recently built and a person and his two sons were injured in the blast.
However, the reason for the explosion is yet to be ascertained. The Weligama Police are investigating.
