Issuing of fuel for vehicles were limited at filling stations from yesterday, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman Sumith Wijesinghe said.
He said the fuel will only be issued for Rs. 2,000 for motorcycles, Rs. 3,000 for three-wheelers and Rs. 8,000 for Cars, Vans, Jeeps.
However, this does not apply to Buses, Lorries and Commercial vehicles, chairman said.
Earlier, the issuing of fuel for vehicles was limited for vehicles on April 15.
