The petitioner Naidelage Dulani Priyangika, the wife of Duminda Nagamuwa had filed this petition seeking an interim order directing authorities to produce Duminda Nagamuwa before Court forthwith.

President’s Counsel Saliya Pieris appearing for the petitioner informed the court that the corpus Duminda Nagamuwa had been released from the quarantine centre in Pallekele last Friday (16). He moved Court to withdraw the petition, informing his client does not intend to proceed with the application.
