Addressing the media, he said that there are so many negative reports claiming that Sri Lanka has become an unsafe country. “We are not starving on the road, and there are no people dying on the streets.” Our main focus is India because India is our neighbour. We used to share a lot of cultural similarities and heritage. Currently, from Sri Lanka, there are over a hundred weekly flights to India.
