The trade union action launched by 17 trade unions attached to the health sector has been temporarily called off for 10 days considering the positive response conveyed by the Secretary to the Health Ministry for the grievances during a meeting held Wednesday night.
Accordingly, the strike is to be called off from 8.00 am today (04).
President of Federation of Health Professionals, Ravi Kumudesh, said the strike was called off considering the positive response conveyed by Secretary to the Health Ministry during a meeting held last night.
Moreover, the prevailing conditions linked to fuel shortage, which had burdened the people, was also taken into consideration when deciding to call off the strike,” he added.
Health professionals decided to launch a Trade Union action from 8.00 am on Wednesday (2) over several demands including salary increase, and payment of the uniform allowance.
